About

Association TDPM France

TDPM France was established in November 2020, following meetings between a core group of women whose primary goal was to create a national network focused on premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

As discussions progressed, it quickly became clear that there was a need to formalize the collective in order to support more people and contribute to greater recognition of the disorder. The team gradually grew, particularly around the creation of an executive board, the drafting of statutes and internal regulations, which were presented for a vote at the first general assembly marking the official founding of the association on November 3, 2020.

Today, TDPM France works along two main lines. On the one hand, offering a space for support and connection for those directly or indirectly affected by PMDD, in order to combat isolation and provide guidance in managing the condition. On the other hand, providing a platform for dialogue and information-sharing for healthcare professionals who wish to enhance their training and take part in reducing medical misdiagnosis and neglect.
